Do they have local Support?
by Shailesh Naik on Dec 31, 2007 12:52 PM   Permalink

It is prooved that militancy can't stay for long if it doesn't have local backing. The example is Punjab. Initially the people from Punjab (specially rural areas) did support the militants. But once they stopped gone the problem.
So it is again in the hand of Punjabis do they want the problem back or stay in peace. I'm sure after suffering so much there is no way they will support it again.
