LTTE may be a fascist organization right now. But it was because of LTTE and other similar groups that the Tamils there enjoy what rights they do today. Before that TAMIL WAS NOT EVEN A NATIONAL LANGUAGE IN SRI LANKA, though it was spoken by one third of the population. Consider the situation here where Sindhi is recognized though the percentage of Sindhi speakers in the total population is low. That is because ours is an inclusive society unlike Srilanka.

the problemis, my friend, inclusion in India is opportunistic and of like-minded and not a romantic, democratic rainbow that you see fantasize about.
I agree, we have a better chance, but only if get our folks to read and write a few alphabets...English/Tamil or even Sinhalese!
