This is what exactly to be done by Indian Government as well with out allowing itself to be bullied over by the caste, religion, region, political parties, minorities etc etc. "Be a Roman when you are in Rome" is the dictum that tamilians should practice when they are in Sri Lanka. It is not a very distant past when people of Andhra Pradesh were discriminated as second rate citizens by Tamilians in a composite Madras State. So, National integration is supreme over all other considerations in a small country like Sri Lanka. One should love the land where you live. Former Prime Minister Morarji Desai clearly stated that India has no business to interfere with the goverance of Sri Lanka when his attention was drawn to the so called discrimination of Tamilians settled in Sri Lanka.

If you refer Telugu Speaking people were subjected to discrimination, you should also refer the same yardstick to Telengana people, who are making same complaint to other Sect of Andhra.

Be a Roman when u r in Rome , before commenting u should know the history of srilanka, Tamils were there as long as Srilanka is there , heard of Ravanan yep he's a tamil king thts the reason why Tamilnadu CM was against Ramar. There are two types of tamils in Srilanka Indian Tamil(who live in Kandy and Colombo)and Eela Tamils or Ethnic Tamils. The Indian Tamils Follow ur Words "Be a Roman in Rome" but the Ethnic tamils cant follow tht.

If we had to listen to Morarji, then we would not have nuclear weapons or Sukhoi planes or anything.
As for the discrimination of people of AP, even now around 12 - 15% of the people in TN are Telugu speakers and none of them have complained of discrimination.
