think for 10,000 years south asian region including India and Pakistan , called Bharat Varsh HAD MONOCRACY. Means hereditary sucession, kings son become the heir to the throne, and it went on smoothly.
DEMOCRACY IN INDIA PALTRY 60 YEARS and utter failure with idiotic caste and religion based politics and stupid LOOT OF PUBLIC MONEY WE PAY AS TAXES.
May be we south asians are NOT SUITED TO DEMOCRACY but we WANT TO BE RULED BY IRON HAND AND DISCIPLINE that kings used to exercise. OLD HABITS DIE HARD.
10,000 years of monocracy , countless kings and kingdoms bears testimony to this fact. We like hereditary sucession , it is in OUR BLOOD due to 10,000 years of such history.

Suggesting that THE HEAD OF INDIAN MILITARY BE CALLED KING OF INDIA AND RULE WITH IRON HAND WITH DISCIPLINE AND POWER, AND DECISIVE RULE, NOT WIMPS LIKE CONGRESS OR BJP.
ONE WHO HAS A FULL AND FREE HAND TO DEFEND OUR COUNTRY FROM THREATS AND TERRORISM.
DEMOCRAY AS A SYSTEM CREATS WIMPS AND SISSY TYPES IN OUR COUNTRY.
WE AS PEOPLE FOR 10,000 YEARS ARE USED TO BE RULED BY KINGS AND RULERS , NOT WIMPS, AND WE WANT TO SEE STRONGMEN TO LOOK UP TO AND RESPECT.

Mr.Jalaluddin, democracy is any day better than monarchy. That is the reason for the uprising against the monarchy even in a small country like Nepal. The litmus test is not whether there was democracy for 10,000 years or for just 60 years. It is how matured the people (and by extension their leaders) are. Democracy is defnitely not a failed experiment in India, though it is so in Pakistan and Bengladesh. And we do not want Saudi style monarchy in our Country!!!!!

JGN Mr.Jalaluddin is talking about an iron hand of discipline and power without appeasement based on idiotic caste or religion besides he has madtouched very important point of loot of public money by some so called political leaders who are in fact looters.Democracy has not given this country so far any strong ruler whom we could see up to and respect. In fact democracy has given us goons and looters as rulers. And practically we have been subjected to hereditary monarchy, What is wrong in accepting the facts as they are? Mr.Jalaluddin's views are very much correct as far as the style of democracy practiced in our country is country.
