Due to overwhelming antagonism that Benazir has earned during her regime, - in Zia loyalists, army officers and Al Qieda, Raman seems to have missed the obvious other angle of Musharraf himself being the perpetrator.
Benazir's assasination will only cause some trouble to him in some provinces. But, for Musharraf, facing trouble and holding power is much better than losing power and facing trouble !

that i think is our assumptions with uninformed sources or us thinking of such an angle. b. raman will have better sources and inside info, which normal people like you and me will not have privy to
