Why do Christian missionaries practice conversion
by chinmay kumar on Dec 27, 2007 03:44 PM   Permalink

There is a fact that runs as a under current in the southern part of Orissa (the koraput, kandhmal and bustar belt)that the conversion of hindus to christianity is quite rampant and its the missionaries to be blamed for doing so with the power of money. This part of India where you have 30 pc of population which is schedule tribe , who are poverty stricken, easily fall pray to the lures of becoming Christians and earn money. the missionaries are to be blamed for converting people using such malice tactics. What has happened is condemnable but then the very fact of mass conversion using money and malice is also not right. These missionaries shall not take to such practices in a country dominated by Hindus
