Pkl. afternoon, 3,40pm.,Thursday, Dec. 27 ,2007 Whatever the provocation, if as reported some elderly Hindu Priest was killed or assaulted supposedly by tribals connived at by Christian missionaries... Still,saffronite Bajrangis. or other Hindu Activists are deadly wrong in doing the mischief of attacking Prayer Houses , Churches or Christian missionaries.No ,this is barbaric.As the earlier assault on missionary Graham Stains and his kids was inhuman. Indian culture ought to govern every body in the subcontinent to the salutary philosophy of Salad -Bowl image of india's multi-religious reality. Panch-sheel and harmony has been perennial message of 5000 yrs. old indian Society.We all must guard against any ungracious intolerance towards our national minorities...This is largely Majority's primary duty. Let the state take sternest steps to quell this bout of senseless violence against peaceful Christian Churches and their prayer Houses and devotees.D. Goel
