Conversion using money is a serious issue to be debated, but I dont think VHP and such has any intention to do that. These violent activities clearly show that. The conversion issue can only be settled by holistically addressing all the issues of caste discrimination, Dalit oppression, constitutional right to practice religion, payng money for conversion, etc. It is totally vindictive to march during Christmas as if VHP had a sudden interest in this issue. Though both sides have to blamed for violent actions, it is clear neither VHP nor Orissa govt has any interest in solving the ultimate issue but only to cause chaos which severely affects the lives so many innocent people.

Friend I appreciate your comment but, pl. note that a hindu is always blamed in this even after being the most secular. Can u imagine any country whatsoever on this planet allowing other religions to flourish to this extent. VHP should be commended for exercising the strength which was to be done by all the hindus. Allured Convertion is a menace and should be stopped immediately.

I hope Indian govt should not discriminate against Certain books written by some authors on their own religion-there is securarism in India to follow anything and write anything, Quran is against Kafirs, Bible is agains pagans, so Taslimas book is against her own religion whats wrong in it, if there is nothing wrong in conversion as it doesnot hurt sentiments of muslims and xtians then they are better things to be done in India, why bother about Hindus they donot have true religions of desert.
