Spot on, Mr. Raman

Excellent article that articulates clearly just why Modi has become what he has - a towering personality with a permanent place in the hearts of the common Hindu Indian. But I disagree with Sri Raman's analysis of the media's role in "demonizing" Modi. The media has unwittingly helped the process of the elevation of Modi's stature. By pouring venom over him day and night for years, the media has shown the Hindus just how anti-Hindutva and anti-Hindu they really are, thus ciontributing significantly to the unification of the Hindu opinion around Modi. You know just how notoriously fickle and disunited Hindu political opinion is. It needed a strong kick below the belt to unite them and the media has (unwittingly) provided just that. Good job, mediajhollas.

It is said that true leaders of men are subjected to a trial by fire (agni-pariksha) and only those who succeed become leaders of stature. Modi was duly subjected to one and he took it on with grace. Modi has survived - in style - the agni-pariksha he was subjected to by vile journalists, viler secularists and ofcourse the anti-Hindu Congress party. His rise will now be unstoppable. Modi and Moditva ki jai!
