Ancient spiritual belief further had it that a person who suffered misfortune or overly suffered from the human instinctual passions of fear and aggression was 'possessed' by bad or evil spirits. Relief was sought by offering sacrifice or avowing servitude to the mythical good spirits or Gods in return for favours, forgiveness, redemption and salvation, if not now then in an imaginary life-after-death.
Each tribe has, over millennia, formalized its own particular religion based on these ancient words, traditions, fears, superstitions and eccentric fairy tales.
Shamans, priests and God-men soon laid claim to be the earthly representatives of these mythical 'other- worldly spirits and Gods and, as such, their words and deeds were taken to be sacred and inviolate.
Thus the shamans, priests and God-men came to wield enormous power and influence, for to dare to question them was to provoke the evil spirits, incur the wrath of the Gods and ultimately deny oneself the chance of salvation in an imagined future life-after-death.

1, VHP is another orgn like many other belonging to other religions. Modi was hated by RSS and VHP in this election. So they are not together. If ever they came together it was on ideas and not permanent. Exactly like Congress and NCP, Congress and DMK. 2. No sensible person should use foul and hurting langauge against others-community, religion or beliefs. Lot of muck flows around, some hurting muslims and some hindus etc. Do not take it to heart for ever. 3. The riots was not genocide. You are calling so when you hear and see pictures of Muslims being hurt. Did you ever recall what would have happened to 58 pilgrims burnt inside train coach alive by muslims around. Yes Modi must have controlled as he was obliged as Government. He slipped badly indeed. Did you see whole Maharashtra Govt with their own central govt waiting for 10 days to send a notic to Raj Thakerey.
Indeed lot of innocent people muslims and hindus both suffered in gujarat riots. What do we do now except give healing touch.
Lot of muslims are misled by politicians to setlle scores with Modi by calling him as having led the genocide
My dear, no one hates each other in multi racial society. It is polticians who create hatred for their own means. do not use langauge which shows bias
