Christian missions in India have also done a lot of educational and medical service. Similarly there are many Hindu religious missions which do not preach communalism for instance, the Ramakrishna Missions). India has a tradition of social work inspired by religion. Mahatma Gandhi is a great example of how one can learn good things from all religions. The Sangh Parivar is however different. Their social work is always motivated by a program of communal politics.

So much for secular spirit of Communists and Congress!
Which world do you live in? Does Muslim League as a party need to exist? The secularists are doing the work for them.
Muslims in India like to call India a secular country only until this country has a minority muslim population. Let them come in majority and you would watch the secularism going up in smoke.
Name one muslim majority country that practices secularism.
