D,

It seems you are not a Hindu. If you are to qualify to be a secular, just stick to your religion and do not meddle in our Sanatana Dharma.

If you are doing a scientific study it is ok, if you are doing an objective journalistic analysis that is ok, if you are an inquisitive visitor, you are most welcome. As a well meaning critic, we will accept you with open heart.

But, and this is a big but(!) if you seek to convert or malign our religion, the consequences is that this is not covered by free speech under Constitution but liable for punishment. If others take law into their own hands, as even CM Modi seems to have done, our stretched Constitution may not be able to cope with to safeguard your other fundamental rights.

Suggest, stick to secularism of the Indian kind, genuine kind, not the Ramanian sickular!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hindu parents covertly brainwash their children to coerce or manipulate other kids as per caste hierarchies.........I have been seeing the same message posted by various persons and wonder from where they have copied the same.

My parents had not told anything like that to me nor do I tell anything like that to my children. Is this the mentality of those who are posting such comments or have their parents told them to do like that??????????

my dear friend cast system was based on functions performed bby people and not by birth. the practise later seeped in. all the kids irrespective of the caste were given the sacred thread 'janeu' after performing the yagnopavitam rights which instilled the fervour to serve the society in best possible manner. also one is called brahman who worships brahm; and brahm is given parlance of knowledge and in more social terms the grain. Those who are saadhak i.e. those who strive for the brahm(grains and knowledge) are called brahman. Moreover caste system was never divisive. nowhere in any of the scriptures it is written that people of a particular community can't enter a temple or perform certain rituals. In ancient india temples were the seat of learning as well. in the temples there were held schools which were the source/ center of genesis of grammar. arithmetic, astrology, political science and economics. and mind you india is land where maximum number of languages have taken shape- hindi and urdu being the latest add ons. Moreover for your kind information there is no such word as hindu in any of indian scriptures like ramayan, mahabharat or vedas. the term was given by persian civilisation to people living east of hindukhush mountains as people of indian civiliozation used to call them sumerians.Hinduism was always a pattern of living and continues to be so. It's not the religion or the lords who are good or bad but the followers.
