1. Brahmins are only 3-4% of population. They were never the rulers of the country. No system like caste system could exist just because 3-4% of population wants it.
2. Caste system was primarily developed by the Kings, merchants and rich farmers who found it advantageous to put down the labor class and they conveniently used some idiot priests to approve the system and then they used it to their advantage. 3. Caste system exists in Japan, Nigeria, etc. The slavery in America was really horrible and that was sanctioned by The Bible and The Koran also!!!!!!!! So much for the compassion so-called prophets!!!!!!!!!!!!
