Is Karan Thapar advocating Modi's assassination?
by Middle Road on Dec 30, 2007 07:52 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Look at this article. In the last paragraph, Karan says "Only the sudden removal of Narendra Modi can stop this. For he is the agent forcing this change. And whilst he%u2019s with us, he will do just that." Modi is a representative of the people of Gujarat. How can a media person advocate his murder?

What a load of rubbish. Once I regarded Mr. Thapar as a good journlist, I couldn't believe while reading this article, how a person like Thapar could write such a load of rubbish. I thought phenomena of disillusionment was limited to uneducated masses of india, but I have changed my mind ( rather got illuminated ) about "Educated" , "Well Respected" english journalist, right now I have decided not even read what they write.
Come on thapar see a Shrink you need help.

DONT BLAME KARAN. AFTER ALL HE HAS TO LIVE FOR LONG. IF HE PRAISES MODI OR EVEN HINDU SENTIMENTS, THE OTHER SIDE WILL ISSUE FATWA ON HIM.

IF HE DEMONISE MODI OR HINDU SENTIMENTS, NO FATWA WILL COME FROM ANYWHERE.

THATS THE REASON ALL THESE JOURNALISTS ARE AFRAID OF.

It is in a Hindustan Times article by make-over-desperately-required Thapar titled "'Modi'fication of politics". Apparently he thinks the pun amusing
