Gujrat strongman Modi

Modi can display cynicism of a dispassionate journalist. Karan Thapar recalls when he interviewed Modi, long before he became the CM, he derided the RSS run schools as complete failures in comparison to the Bhavans. Modi is a strong leader, as Raman says he kindles the Hindu pride. However, unlike Bharatiyar, who epoused it for a selfless cause -the freedom struggle,- Modi does it for political gains, which is fine. However, the self-styled secular media's lament is not without reason. The daylight murders of women and children in Gujrat warrant justice. What about killings indulged by Islamic militants, displacement of Kashmiri Pundits, bomb blasts claiming innocent lives all across India, yes I hear the counterpoints. You are all right they need justice just as those who were butchered in Godhra and elsewhere in Gujrat following the incident. What is undesirable is the numbness to murder and mayhem. The poll result is typical of Gujrat. For Gujratis nothing matters more than their Dhanda and Dharm, (business and religion) in that order. Modi played to these ground realities and struck a chord with the electorate. All said, he is a pracharak gone power hungry. As a pracharak he leads a life dedicated to service of the country and his culture, as a power hungry politician he will not bat an eye to repeat a post Godhra pogrom. My two cents; I may have got everything wrong.

What is your bet on the Pope not repeating the genocides of the past 2000 years and Inquistion. Or the Cardinals passion for young boys?

Holding fierce pride in their identity, Sikhs have for decades been seen as off-limits by the missionary machine but not anymore. In a alarming trend, evangelism has begun to tread on the Sikh faith as well.
Every aspect of Punjabi society is being overwhelmed with this new wave of assertive anti-national Christianity. Besides programs in Hindi, Punjabi TV channels have been deluged by Christian programs even though the Christian population of Punjab is less than 1%. Taking aim at Sikh youth, animated films and childrens books on Christianity are freely distributed by missionaries.
Because of the strong adherence to tradition by Sikhs, missionaries have attempted to repackage Christianity. Jesus is called Satguru, church is referred to as Satsang and choir singing is called Kirtan. Choir boys in Punjabi churches wear turbans to attempt to minimize the variation between Sikhism and Christianity. However, despite these attempts to disguise Christianity as a version of Sikhism, missionaries still cannot hide their intent: to destroy the Sikh faith & Indian culture.
The lead is taken by Malayali christians with money from US, Uk & before long priests will start their pastime of molesting kids.

What happened in Godhra was wrong. But why hold Modi responible for that. If any one have proof, they should approach the Supreme Court for deliverance of Justice. Most of the guys who complain against Modi conveniently forget the atrocities commited by Congi men like Jagdish Tytler etc after the death of Ms Indira Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi even justfied the killings. Where are those NGO's who fight for justice for the people of Godhra. We will appreciate their effort more if they fight with same zeal against the Congi goons who murdered more than 3000 sikhs mostly women and children. Are sikh lives cheaper than the lives of other minorities.
