Idiot they were not created (shows your insidious mind). Of course they took avatar to exterminate earlier versions of Cult leaders- cult leaders like Raksha Ravanan and Kamsan. And to instruct faltering Hindus like Arjuna to uphold Dharma by ruthlessly exterminating the kaurva clan.
