HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE SEEN /REPORTED THE SUFFERINGS OF RELATIVES OF BURNT IN TRAIN I have come accross one story only since train burning and hundreds of stories for the suffering of others

Those who perpetrated that act; whoever they were they should have been punished. But this did not happen, The Do Danda you are referreing to were systematic killings across gujarat; targeting muslims; who had nothing to do with this crime. The act of killing your own people you are foresworn to protect is a violation of state ethics. Something that is considered a high crime, that makes a person unfit to be in positions of responsibilty. But that happens where the judiciary prevails! The man deserves to be in Hague simply because our judiciary has never conducted and prosecuted mass murders. As for popular support India has all kinds; Laloo; three terms, communists- forever..

The people of NWFP voted for MMA; open allies of Osama, the Serbs voted for milsevic at the time he was playing the nationalist; defender of Serbs card , during the Croatian and Bosnian wars, were they fools? History has not answered yet about the NWFP, but the Serbs, who thought they had a messiah in Milosevic soon had a reduced yugoslavia and ultimately No Yugoslavia! So much for megalomaniacs. THere is more to a nation than progress measured in GDP! Something which Modi has been very successful in selling to the Hindu middle classes.

Are you even aware of Deoband? Its nationalist credentials are older than any other outfit if India; muslim or hindu. It was one organization that opposed the creation of Pakistan. Can you bring any proof of Deoband in any anti India activity. Don't try to insinuate as if they are terroists. I myself believe that muslims should take up education more seriously, and organizations such as Deoband can play a positive role in including contemporary topics such as IT and telecom, nevertheless the obsession with muslims is vicious. How are muslims preventing your growth, they are not denying you in any way. Have you ever wondered why the same muslims were as high as 48%(police) and aroungd 30% in governence at the time of indepenence, and now only 0-1%. Education could be a factor, but such a steep fall? Could there be factors not discussed on forums? I can speak for a lot of muslims when I say: that mulsims want ot life in peace in India, and they have no intention of creating Pakistans as is often alluded, everytime they seek to face the challenges facing them as a community. Be they educational, social and political.

So were those targeted by Modi, responsible for them the list you just presented? For a supposed crime; in one place-Godhra, that was not even investigated properly and the entire machinery of gujarat was brought to carry out exterminations! Is this what responsible governence is? IS this how the state should protect its citizens. If this is how he will react ; if he ever gets a chance to be PM, then this man will bring a muslim rebellion. Then he bring as many action reaction quotes.

think strategicall before you pick on a population of 150 million by even conservative estimates. In your zeal you may bite more than you can chew! Can such a population if it gets out of hand be put under control epecially i such a geopilitical enviormnment, where this would be something which would only be exploited by india's neighbours. The BJP and its Hindutva brigade will score an own goal!

If Modi is in power, Muslims dare not rebel. And if they do rebel as foolishly as only they can, Modi will see to it that their b..ls are cut and packed so that they will never again think of rebellion. Modi is not like the corrupt Congress or DMK or BSP chief minister who will negotiate with criminals and terrorists, take a cut and leave them off.

This may be your personal opinion but killing of non believers is not not an holy act. Yuor friend was not correct. Fighting non believers is permissible when they prevent muslims from following their faith and the lives property an honour of muslims is not safe anymore...!That stage has not reavched in india yet. I firmly believe that the rest of india is not going to turn to Modiism. All Indians; except a few states are moderate and secular, includinfg hindus and muslims...
