I wish good luck to Mr. Modi. But now he has to come good on his 'Large-Heartedness'. He has to win hearts of muslims who feel utterly alienated at this point of time and show that he truly works for 5 crore gujaratis. If muslims also reap the fruts of development without any fear or insecurity then i bet next time even muslims will vote for him.
Good luck to him!

BJP and Modi both are neither anti-muslim nor they have any so called "horrifying agenda" as talked by Congi comics. But if congis are hell bent on dividing communities to garner votes and play deep politics, BJP has every right to woo hindus as much as possible. And that is only possible if they either stay away from muslim areas and show that they don't care about muslims. But the reality is that BJP has provided riots and curfew free gujarat. There are more muslims now who own restaurants and shops in hindu dominated areas and vice verca today in ahmedabad than before. My family actually goes to restaurants on sunday which are owned by muslim brothers. So muslims should put down congi tactics and should vote for modi.

there should be no heart-winning. congress is already doing that. Hope Modi will be different from Congres. I do not understand why all muslim want that government should win their hearts. what is in their heart - only hatred to other religions and no respect for our mother land.

In case u didnt get it. Winning heart does not mean showering goodies. Winning heart means create a condusive environment where even muslims can feel confidant, secure and reap fruits of development. and sanjay rao, stop ranting about how all muslims are gaddars and ur the only one carrying the light of patriotism.

Mr..Vohra...i am fully supportive of the fact that muslims also should get the fruit of development. But...u must agree that..muslims in this country also have to stop...asking for seperate treatment....the problem is that muslims...get together to vote for that party which promises them dreams...or which works on appeasement policy.....If there is any favouritism towards majority, u should oppose it..but please stop asking for favours by calling urself minority community...this is a democracy..everyone should have equal rights..whether its hindu, muslim, sikh or christian..we hindus just want that...but..ur voting pattern to favour parties like congress which is willing to fall to any level to get votes makes us, mistrust u ppl....Believe me in this country muslims will also get the same rights as any other community..please try to follow following things..as first few steps
1.educate ur children .... 2.try to follow birth control.. lil bit..which can help u provide better quality of life to ur family.. 3. Show little tolerance for other religions.. 4. Mix with other religions..without any bias.. We know there are subtle differences in each religion, but should not make u forma seperate group..away from others...
this discrimination is a mix of factors of past and present.
most of the muslims who have adopted islam in india were from communities who were doing manual labour in earlier days.
and then, after independence also, their education level has not improved vastly.
compare this with education of some smaller, more cloely knit communities like ismailis, daudi voras, jafri momins etc. they have done much better compared to other muslims.
unless muslims try to improve their education levels, they will feel discriminated (and congress enjoys it).
hindus in gujarat feel that congress is favouring muslims, but peronally i feel that congress has done nothing form muslims except using them as vote banks and keeping them backward.

Donald Duck,I'll give a point-by-point reply
-That means u tacitly agree that there IS discrimination. I'd say more than discrimination this is a deep phobia of muslims in heart of hindus. Thanks to Hate mongering by likes of VHP, Bajrang dal.
-Ur point about majority of muslims belonging to "communities doing manual labour" can open can of worms. reservations, OBS...lets not go into that.
-Education: could not agree more,
-ismailis, dawoodi voras are tiny, close knit communities who mostly keep to themselves. Unfortunately they are the hardest hit during times of disturbances. -

mohammedi vohra, You appear to be a sensible person. I request you to to ask the clerics to pass fatwa that muslims must not rejoice defeat of India in sports, must not shelter terrorists from Bangladesh and Pakistan, must get their children educated not in madrasas but in modern schools.
