First of, people in India converted to Muslim, Christian, Jainism or Budhism becuase of caste system. Imagine condition of harijan, dalits and other in pre-independent India. Instead of preaching muslim, it will be much better that we do something about the caste system, which many carry in their minds.

lets just cease being a democracy. today its the muslims, tomorrow u will expect other minorities to hand over their religious structures and symbols to you and become hindu to live in peace??
im a muslim. maybe you are not aware, but i can tell you that there are many like-minded like me who laugh over fatwas! nobody picks up a sword and runs off to fulfill a fatwa! same goes for jehad. we dont just listen to our mullahs you know. we DO read the Koran and understand the times and context under which the Islamic wars for fought. even your scriptures talk about wars between good and evil. the Rams v/s Raavan and the Pandavs v/s Kauravas. You will be interested to know, that just like the wars YOUR Gods/Heroes fought, Koran too states that in jehad, women, children and the old are not 2 b attacked, we do not attack from the back and we show mercy on those who surrender. the Prophet also spared those prisoners who educated the illeterate arabs. you dont have to be born a muslim to have the brains to understand that martyr is one who does not kill rather is willing to die for his beliefs. Suicide bombing some housewives in a busy marker area is NOT religion, its terrorism and most muslims understand the difference. when Islam condemns suicide, the very concept of the suicide bombing jehadi is anti-Islamic. plz understand the religion (this msg is to ignorant muslims as well) b4 attacking the people

hey sunaina you might not be listening to your mullahs but many are. and tell me what have you truely done to stop such mullahs instead of blogging at 2 in the night desparately trying to convince people of islam's message of love and peace. so next time if your mullah says something like that don't just laugh at the guy and post messages but actually do something about it before narendra modi gets him. ha ha ha.

Dear Sunaina, I do care for the feeling you have for ur religion. Even I found about singha's article is about emotion. But let us come to the facts. It is the not the fault of muslim's and hindu's to get emotional. Rather it is the moolah's who rule our mind. Even though Koran says so many good things, other than prophet no body else obeyed the real rule of war. Muslim Rulers/Organisations (i.e. Al-Queda) always misleaded the general public by the name of JIhad. Even though you laugh about something, can you find a solution for the complete freedom for writers like Taslima Nasreen and Salman Rushdie? Can you say why there was no solution for Shah Bano Case? Don't you think the the age old shahriat does not fit to the modern world. You may be educated enough to understand this. But most of the muslim kids are taught about the misleading Jihadi teachings. Some of the Kashmir Leaders don't dare to say anything about militant attacks. But feel free to say about the Defence of Indian Government. Do you know before partition 30% of government employees were muslims. And Per capita Income of Pakistan was better than India. But what is the case you know better. It is due to the lack of education and hatrade. Here in India whatever the religion may be they are Indians. So as a real Indian we should think about OUR BROTHERHOOD, not who won or who defeated. sad state of affair!! this tit for tat messages wont get anyone anywhere except spewing hatred and grief!! A true beleiver of either relgion Muslims / Hindus or rather tue believer of any religion will find some where in their respective holy scipture to tolerate and respect other beliefs though the methodloly of tolerance may vary!!! History is a product of time of diffrent compulsions and potical and moral era , there has been evil deeds done by peple of all beliefs and so too acts of tolerance and honour, its only where you want to look , or rather what cases you want to bring foth to ephasis your pont of view !! basically what stand you wanna take on an issue !! good bad saints prophets evill treacherous people are their in all societies and religion they are only victims or heroes of circumstances & time.

hei where are those so called modis are they hiding behind the wings or waiting in the wings!!! Come on the issue is question of belief Mulims religion storngest point is the unity of belief which translates into universal feeling of brother hood and one ness,this strict adherence to Koran (PUH) commonality in worship, celeberation and practise makes them united and it has to be appreciated. (To expect them to be tolerant the hindu way is unreasonable.) Our religion (Hindus) preach and practise diversity and tolerance eventhough it has its own advantages it also come with grave shortcommings - like lack of unity , castism and intra religion rivalry, the so called tolerance and freedom of choice the other side of the same coin is lack of firm faith , obsification and incoherence - diversity with rivalry, a true hindu should be tolerant and try to apprciate even the most bigot practise in any religion whether among hindus muslims atheist / agnost etc as all are allowed to seek god through diiffrent paths of bakthi / karma / and as you say there is not just one way to seek God!!
