Govt Subsidy for Haj
by Srinivasan on Dec 23, 2007 07:08 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Indian government is subsidising the Haj travel. Every year hundreads of crores of rupees are spent by the govt so that a particular community can perform their religious rights. Is this secularism? . I wish somebody files a public interest litigation and fights this.

Worse still, they collect tax from money collected in temples to pay for Hajj. Insane and profane.

MUSLIMS NEVER ASKED FOR SUCH SUBSIDIES. LET THEM WITHDRAW. MUSLIMS WILL NOT PROTEST. ONLY POLITICAL PARTIES LIKE SP CONGRESS LEFT WHO DECLARES THEMSELVES AS FRIENDS OF MUSLIMS WILL ONLY PROTEST. AND THE MEDIA WILL REPORT THAT MUSLIMS ARE PROTESTING.

You are right Khan. India's enemy is congress who have no scruples and commies who dont know who they are. Muslims are our brothers. It is the congress who create communal devide on the basisi of religion and caste just for votes.I am praying for a day where religion and caste is not mentioned in Government. Only progress and development is mentioned.

You are assuming things. Last time someone raised the issue, a lot of hue and cry was raised by muslims quoting many statistical data.
