  RE:Practical Approach

Modi will probably do more to change the perception of him being anti-Muslim. At the same time it is responsibility of Muslims to show that they are not anti-Hindu or anti-Modi. This is be positive cooperation, not by remaining distant from Hindus. On this path, the common Muslim will face those traditional hurdles in the form of minority appeasing politicians, extremist view preachers, and others who do not want to see Hindu-Muslim amity.

On Naidu, I have this view. He developed cold feet because of one election loss and thought Hindus and Muslims will not be with him if he is with NDA. That was too narrow a reading of the election results. I am sure he will have second thoughts as the Congress is bungling in facing Naxal threats, creating havoc by playing in to the hands of MIM fundamentalists, and has angered the court and common public alike by its reservation for minorities based on religion.

Congress may find it tough in Andhra, but will Naidu show guts to tread the path of NDA to victory?
