Perhaps the best written piece by a mainstream journalist-- but I am not sure that Modi is just hollow, cunning, crafty and smartest guy around. Isn't it possible that a good bit about him is genuine-- just as he is not corrupt that he has other genuine characteristics and principles-- such as not playing minority politics? That like many well meaning people, he believes that there should be only one law that appliest to the majority as well as minorities?

You are right. All media persons still writing about HIS 'crafted personality'. Can't HE be an ok politician with good track record?. Can't HE market himself with modern techniques? Although HE is not a Great Person but still Gujarties loves to love HIM. And mind well all media persons that Gujaraties are Not a foolish people who will vote without thinking.
