Ibn Sina also believe that reason and philosophy are greater than revelation (Quran) and urged to bring the Quranic messages in conformity with reason. Indeed, two greatest Muslim scholars -- Ibn Sina and al-Farabi -- both considered writings of great philosophers of ancient Greece, particularly of Aristotle, as the revealed truth, according to Aligarh Prof Umaruddin's 'The Ethical Philosophy of al-Ghazzali'.
