Genuine versus fakes
by D S on Dec 23, 2007 01:24 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Modi could be trouble but he is "genuine" trouble... Not a "faker" of goodness

Then manipulation of people's emotions and faking is an art and we people like Sonia, Aamir, Shahrukh, Amitabh, Rajnikant, Atal ..etc are good at it.

So you are saying he should have been "guninely" punished...and not by showing just "fake" displeasure. Right? :P

The problem with Indian folks...too emotional...religiousity has no boundaries. In fact religion should be personal matter and those politicians know, how to play with religion card...even educated are fooled and doomed..what you think about...

India is very complex. Justice --Ha ha ha..
If we have discrimination power to try and punish Modi, we must have to be also be smart enough to remove the dynasty faking "Gandhi" name.
Smart enough to elect directly the PM and CM!!! Then Modi or Sonia would have slim chance in direct election...
You see where we are now.

You mean if there were direct elections for CM, Modi would have slim chances of being elected?

Sure, people would have more choices. Now it is all very well controlled, who gets tickets for MLA or MP (BJP or Congress ) is decided from top.

India is not a true democracy. It seems like "free elections" from outside. Do people know who gets ticket could be wasted/useless/dumb person. I have seen personally (when someone know tried to have MLA ticket from Congress), how Talibanic it is from within.

You are correct:
"Well then people should not vote for that wasted/dumb/useless person"

People don't have choice in Indian sort of democracy. It is A or B. Direct election in State would allow 3-4 people and thus a wider choice to people.
Catch up with you later...
