Its a bloody negative propgation against the State of Russia and Putin. The state has overcome from all the economic travails and has acheived a trillion dollar economy and to this Mr.Putin is credited and certified as the man of the year By Time magazine. The way they charge him as corrupt is brutually wrong and he has more proven honesty than the political fellows in wstern world! We have witnessed the collapse of world's numer one energy company ENRON collapse by corporate frauds and all who did that have escaped from the accountability! They don't have the morality to charhge Mr.Putin!

Russia is an underdeveloped country. It exports oil and gas and imports all the manufactured products its citizens need. Their only acheivement is in manufacturing rockets and nuclear bombs. Well, even ISRO has succeeded in doing that.

Compare USA military might verses China. who is superior. USA has power to destroy China many many times over. Besides what makes you think either of them will attack each other ?

It depends on how you perceive threats.
China thinks USA is a threat because it fears USA will intervene in Taiwan in case China uses force to invade Taiwan. USA feels should China attack Japan or Korea, for some reason, USA has to act. USA has 13 aircraft carrier groups which are loaded with nuclear weapons and superior to anything that China has, just as a show of strength. Even in wildest dreams Chinese will never think of attacking mainland of the US soil unless if they want to get wiped out. China on the other hand can surely destroy one or two US cities, which US fears naturally.
In essence, THE PRICE OF WAR IS TOO HIGH without any commensurate benefit for both parties, HENCE WAR IS UNLIKLY, TRADE WILL CONTINUE nevermind mutual suspicions.

Well they did those things 50 years before India. They were the 1st to put a man in space!...they are definately a developed country, with 16 lane highways. Maybe their economy is not as strong as the US...but they are recovering from their mistakes commited during their communist times...

Thanks to $435 billion dollar cash kitty as of 2007, Russians have tested new ICBMs as well as latest missile defense systems which are second to none in this world. Russia is massively upgrading its awsome military power. Days of 1990s cash crunch is over. Check latest about Russia in google news. Russian defense budget is second only to the US now. Superpower is back. Russia is also preparing next generation submarines, warplanes, as well as missile systems.
