There is no such thing as true muslim or false muslim. All Muslims in the world must do self introspection and remove violent tenets contained in Islam which glorifies killings. It is in their basic teachings to kill and massacre Kafirs (non-believers). But their breed has become so TRUE that now even people of their own community dont hesitate to kill their own people. Is it not disgusting to all the Muslims. Common its a CLARION CALL to all the believers of Islam to first shun violence. Stop suicide bombings, stop sliting throats, stop killing women (honour killings), stop throwing hand granades, stop throwing stones on all idle objects, stop weilding AK-47s. Change your attitude, change your way of thinking about this world. Think peace, advocate peace and live in peace. JAI AKHAND BHARAT.

Sathi pratha was inhuman, no doubt about it. Raja Ram Mohan Roy reformed it and things changed.
The historical reason for Sathi pratha was to ensure the Muslim invaders do not take away the women of Rajputs. In my understanding the warrior communities practiced it.
The point is valid. There are wrong things in every religion. And all of us must try to reform. Why this does not happen in Islam? I asked elsewhere this question - Why they want to continue barbaric systems like stoning to death, honour killing, killing if one does not wear hizab, .... One of the recent cases of 200 lashes for a rape victim was such a travesty of justice, but the Saudi Law Minister praised the judges for 'applying' their mind and being kind to the victim. The merciful (!) King then pardoned the rape victim of the sentence imposed by the learned, humane judges. Stone age living in 21st Century!!
Killing on any pretext is wrong. This must be stopped and banned at at all costs. Why is there a such a lack of liberal thoughts in Islam?

Yes tariq saab, bahut gandegi thi yha, abhi bhi hai, lekin dheere dheere saf ho raha hain. app bhi samil ho jaiye ..... mein dharam change karne ka nahi bol raha hoon. samay ka hisab se islam aage tha, lekin abhi kaffi change chahiye. abhi duniya mein Manab Jati, Universal Brotherhood Ka baat kiya jata hain. hume bhul na nahi chahiye, "Aadmi ke liye dharam hain, Dharam ke liye Aadmi Nahi"

I have said this a lotta times n will say it again,All da things dat da terrorists do in da name of Islam and Jihad are UNISLAMIC hence i hope n wish dat these things stop as we Muslims suffer for sumthing we condemn n as for ur point,i understand ur point Sir n wud want to make tell u something,Islam doesnt glorify killings,the verse dat ur talking abt has been taken out of context n da verse after dat says exactly da opposite thing,this is what happens when u take things outta context...
