Sri Lankan Tamils have a genuine case but have chosen a megalomaniacal nutcase as their leader who does not shy away from eliminating Tamils themselves if they talk of peace. LTTE chief is a curse on Sri Lankan Tamilians. All the Tamilians in this board who support LTTE have no sense, Sri Lanka will never agree to carve up their country, no country will. Will India give away kashmir, will Russia give away Kamchatka to Japan, nobody is going to give unless the Sri Lankans are forced to do by so international community like how Indonesia was forced, but that will only come out if the resistance is headed by somebody other than LTTE and if Sri Lankans are still continuing atrocities against Tamilians. It is sad indeed that monsters like LTTE chief exist in the world. What sort of peace can we expect if he kills his own people who are moderate.

MODERATES?. you know, SL got independence in 1948. Until late 1970s the struggle was inpeaceful Ganghian way. (You would find photos of GANDHI in every EELAM home!). SL govt. Killed so many moderates. Jaffna library which was a treasure hose of many old tamil books wWAS burnt. In 1977 in SL parliment the MODERATE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES of TAMILS declared by WHATEVER MEANS WE SHOULD ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE from SINHALESE. So YOUR MODERATES only said "whatever" means!, after trying out ALL PEACEFUL means!!. Only from 1980s tamil militancy started. THO. there were GENUINE moderates many are moderates for CONVENIENCE not for CONVICTION!!. Ever wondered how ..many countries got independence between 1945-1955?. Do you think INDIA got independence because of MODERATES?. If peaceful struggle (OXYMORON???!!!!) can achieve independence WHATS HAPPENING with TIBET and MYANMAR?.INDIA doesnt even murmer in support of PEACEFUL protestors. WHY?. THINK friend!!!....

Tibet is supported by US and Myanmar is also supported by West. And unfortunately Sri Lankan government is not perceived to be as bad as Myanmarese junta rulers by western media. But you cannot hide the fact that LTTE is trying to eliminate moderate Tamils, what sort of freedom struggle it is when LTTE is killing its own people. Ambedkar,Gandhi and Periyar all had diffrent opinions did there supporters kill each other?

so u feel US will get independent TIBET for Tibetians?. Myanmar is also supported by West?. What abt India... whose moderates (Gandhians!!) keep quiet?(see the utterances of India on this issue). Because EVERYONE has business interest , which is NOT BAD atall. I DONT support LTTE for killing moderates BUT were those MODERATES really moderates? we donno Let EELAM TAMILS decide their own fate. Let not INDIA,Pakistan,USA support ANYSIDE.

You ask many people who oppose LTTE here. They wont agree . BECAUSE THEY KNOW VERY WELL. 99% OF EELAM PEOPLE WILL SUPPORT LTTE. So why INDIAN ESTABLISHMENT hates LTTE? See.. India DOES NOT WANT A SOLUTION IN SRILANKA. It thinks (i mean the ESTABLISHMENT!) its injurious to its REGIONAL INTEREST. I request you to read HISTORY of SL and EELAM struggle and then write comments. SL govt. which is SINHALA-BUSSHIST will never support INDIA. DONT FORGET THAT MALAYALEES AND NORTH INDIANS were doing business in SL before. They are the ones driven out FIRST after INDEPENDENCE. JAPAN supports SL because of BUSSHISM. China for its business and PAKISTAN to gain a PLACE TO HIT SOUTH INDIA(you know why many key installations ..like ATOMIC POWER STATIONS and DEFENCE establishments are in SOUTH INDIA and NOT north??). USA has installed a powerful RADAR in VAVUNIA to SCAN SOUTH INDIA. India is making NOISE at this. SRILANKA gives a DAMN to all these NOISES. BY feeding SINHALESE govt. INDIA is going to loose the SUPPORT of EELAM TAMILS who are the ONLY perenial supporters of INDIA. If India cant support EELAM tamils. It shud atleast KEEP QUIET!!.
