BLOT ON INDIAS SECULAR TRADITIONS
by Krish Koundy on Dec 21, 2007 01:50 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

MIM MLAS who attacked Taslima in Hyderabad and Fundamental elements that threatened to kill Taslima are roaming freely, while Taslima has to remain in House arrest!

Any one who watched NDTV Conversation with Taslima can make out that the UPA Government is desperate to push her out of the country. The government tells her that she cant live in Kolkata, she cant go there even to get her things back, she can stay in Delhi but should not meet any one and shouldnt meet the media! Why? If security is the concern, why not Sonia Gandhi, LK Advani and the PM should stay home, shouldnt move around with black cat commandos.
Is Indian Government so week that it has to keep a writer in the solitary confinement for the fear of some anti social elements. Is there any instance where any political party any where in the world stooped so low for vote bank appeasement?

I know a lot of Bangladesh friends who envy and also adore Indias progressive & secular image. But, Im sure they feel totally let down as much we do. UPA Government has reduce India to the level of Bangladesh, Pakisthan and Talibans today.

It is most shameful event, a stigma on the countries secular credentials!
