India needs democracy bcoz it cant do with out it.With all its mind bogling ethnic, religious and lingual differences in India ,if it wants stay & function as one nation ,it cant be anything but a liberal democracy .Every body understands it including our political leaders & our army.We all know wat happened when Indira Gandhi,the most powerful this country ever seen made an faint attempt to impose dictatorship through emergency ,she got lost.Its not a miracle ,good logic of our founding fathers & historical compulsions that we started as a democracy.Then again we also stayed a democracy added compulsions of this country.
