India in peril

I am trying to present a view which might be disturbing to lot of people here on the board but its true. First of all this is not a true democracy, people here vote for politicians and not for an agenda. Politicians are self serving and corrupted in this country whether it is at national level or state level. People are to be blamed and not the circumstances. As some of them pointed out a lot of discipline needs to be there if India wants to be a top nation.

I hate when people compare India with U.S or china citing the number of years as an excuse. We need to place our bets rightly on education, health care and infrastructure. We build huge buildings and then we complain there are no roads, to me that is just silly and stupid. It just shows that we no nothing about organizing and planning, no sense of following traffic rules.

We keep complaining about racism around the world but we ourselves practice that in several forms of caste, color, etc. We have so much divisive politics in this country that it is hard to get anything accomplished in this country. You can divide India horizontally based on north and south and exploit people or you can divide India vertically based on upper and lower caste and exploit people.You can do whatever the hell you want.

Please do not say cheezy movie dialogues like we are stil India inspite of all these differences, that only makes me wanna puke as I know we can do better than that.

Maybe this country will work more appropriately if we forg
