congrats gujarat & congrats Mr. Modi!!!
by thinktank on Dec 17, 2007 11:01 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

two times gujarat people decided that they like Modi than any other as their leader i think now its time for the entire media to shut their mouth. I think there is no sense in talking about Godhra again and again. No body here in Gujarat talks about Godhra, but the rest of India still talks about it. I dont understand this.

The entire country wants that Modi to be punished for that incident but the entire Gujarat stands with him and says proudly that we are with him, that also now twice.

I am not from this state, but living in Gujarat i can feel that how a person in gujarat perceives that incident and how the rest of the country perceives it.

Really it is the media which is responsible for this, but it is sad that what they could create with others they cant do the same with an ordinary person who lives in Gujarat.

so before deciding anything about Modi or about Gujarat by just reading the stupid english papers and other regional language papers, or by watching TV i welcome everyone to gujarat to come and see the actual status of this state.

there is no fear, no communalism(infact the entire media longs that something to happen so that papers sell more and TVs can increase TRPs),absolutely moving towards prosperity, and with this new term we are sure that Ahmedabad will definitely give a run for its money to Mumbai and will become next financial hub for india

CONGRATS MODI & CONGRATS GUJARAT to EXCEL in the Next 5 years and years to come
ALL THE BEST!!!

Sorry Sir.

Please be reminded that it is not "entire" Gujarat that is supporting Modi. It is only 45% Gujarat voters that support him. The rest 55% are voting against him. So it is definitely not majority vote, but maybe majority seats.
S please stand corrected. If Modi cannot get majority vote in his backyard then what would be the case in the rest of the country?

if thats the case, then what will you call this so called Manmohan govt(may be rightly Sonia's govt?) I am not a BJP supporter but this is the reality in Gujarat.
In indian democracy who ever wins more seats are considered to be representing the whole state or country, whether you voted for them or not still they represent you and you are considered as standing with them.

UPA and NDA has wide spread representation across the country...even in UP the Congress has 10 MP's in the Lok sabha. So considering that the number of UPA MP's are widespread and has a good representation across the country. When NDA won last time it was the same. Dont expect 50% votes nationally. Fo that to happen Indian election process has to change to something like a 2 party system.

all exit polls show that even among the educated youth..who are supposedly Modi's biggest fans..the balnce is 50-50 between Congress and Modi. So dont dream about the remaining 35% who didnt vote.

Your logis is skewed. Modi getting 45% vote share does not mean congress getting rest of the 55%. It is divided between many other parties. You would stand right if congress end up getting less seats even though it got more % votes then BJP. It has never happened in India so far that a party getting less % votes ended up getting more seats.

Modi has 45% and Congressaround 43%. Why such a narrow gap if all people of Gujarat are ecstatic about Modi. In India no party ever gets 50% votes natinally. Even in state elections 45-50% is possible not higher unless there is a huge wave. So please treat this situation as normal and BJP's performance has actully come down. Gujart has been a BJP stronghold for 2 decades. So it is not surprising to see them get 45% vote. It is just like the Commies in W Bengal.

Yes thats the fact.
you are absolutely right
It is modi who has 45%(not BJP) and the rest of parties and leaders can share the remaining 55%
so now you know who is actually liked

in the years to come , u will see how BJP is gonna build a strong base in many states ....

watch how the hindu sentiments are getting shooted up in recent years--BJP will stay as the final salvage for HINDUS ..it is inevitable ........

everyone who are in Gujarat knows whats the reality. Maybe for outsiders like you will need exit polls and election results. It's the media's handiwork that they created an illusion that Congress can win in this elections.(Even the local congress leaders themselves never believed this) That can be sold to people who are outside Gujarat. If you are in Gujarat you know this very well not just now, well before 3 months itself.

Well come to Gujarat. You will realize the development and piece. I keep on moving to almost entire India and know the status of most states. It will be surprising to every Indian who visits Gujarat not only Cities but the villages also. Meet the villagers they will also tell you the story of developments.
