TOI: There were a number of seats which went to BJP with a margin of less then 2000 votes. Had congress avoided multiple contests, the results would have been different! (What they mean: We are dishing out this excuse again and again and are tired of it. But what to do? We do not have any other excuse to cook. We tried to cook a different dish but too many cooks spoiled it!)
