Narendra Modi and morality
by ravi prakash on Dec 18, 2007 11:49 AM   Permalink

The essay is thought provoking but does not find a way.The concept of absolute morality is only a religious and philosophical construct and to some extent influences the laws legislated in the Western Societies.
I don't think that it is practiced anywhere in the real world. The Western Countries have done a lot of immoral acts as nation states. The so called absolutism in public morality has not prevented tyrants from ruling these nations.
All we can say is that the powerful will always getaway with anything. Whether it is the CPM or Modi, there will always be reasons to justify their continued existence. Why lament over it.
