Sonali et al,
"The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is na%uFFFDve and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair". %u2013 H.L. Mencken
Naxals are someone who was suffered in the hands of authoritarians, and have lost their others, wives & children to atrocities.
When ones wife is raped & killed, young children are murdered by corrupt people, anyone will turn radical. However, Naxals formed a group to fight these atrocities so that it doesn't happen to others.
Violence may not be justified but the situation pushed them into this and everyone is responsible for their state, from politicians to corrupt officials to you & me. Let's understand this.
Only way to resolve this issue is through dialogue and peace as violence, be it state-sponsored or naxals, only breeds more violence.
Finally, this is the truth - "Naxals can be killed but not the Naxalism itself". Only way to eliminate naxalism is to genuinely improve the living conditions of the poor, bring perpetrators to Justice and create true democracy.

I agree, this is how naxalism started. But now it has grown into full blown terrorism. Naxals dont actually want development in their stronghold areas so as to retain control. They must learn one thing that they can not do any major harm to a huge country like india. Terrorists in Punjab and Kashmir have learn that. After some time, local politicians will not be able to protect them anylonger. Army will be called in and these bas...ds are no match for a trained army. I hope these days come soon.
