This is not very surprising. Our jails are known to be very porous anyways and going to jail for many people is just a formality. Once inside, you can get whatever you want for a price. So it is to be expected. On the practical side of it, it must be one hell of a job for the jail officials to handle the sort of people entering the jails on a regular basis, with very less pay, mismanagement, insufficient resources at work and what not. It is high time the naxal problem is addressed and some sort of progress is made in general towards resolving the issue. Internal security problems are far worse many a time than external ones.

India needs a constructive politics
At time of every Elections, we see a lot of goons are ready to contest with the support of some political parties and they earn victory with money, muscle power and politics. We seldom see this situation in the history of BJP, Congress and other regional parties. I like to give some examples to draw the political crimes, which are recently occurred:
1. The Bihar police arrested JD(U) MLA Anant Singh and four others on November 1, 2007 for allegedly assaulting journalists after taking them hostage and attacking their colleagues when they protested. His men bashed up journalists again when Mr. Singh was being taken to jail, and he threatened journalists with dire consequences.
2. The iron fist of law slammed ex-UP minister and Samajwadi Party MLA Amarmani Tripathi and his vengeful wife Madhumani with life sentences on October 24, 2007, along with two others who had conspired to kill poet Madhumita Shukla four years ago.
3. The Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati this time not only took time in asking her Food Processing minister Anand Sen Yadav, allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a 24 year old girl Shashi from Faizabad, to resign but also recommended a CBI probe to investigate the matter which rocked the state assembly proceedings on November 6, 2007.
Now-a-days some media and politicians show the culprit's true face to the public. Now main political parties started to use Naxalites and Maoists to demolish their opponents. It is a
