ABUSING GANDHI : READ HIS AUTOBIOGRAPHY
by sanjay kumar on Dec 14, 2007 04:33 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It has become common for SC politicians to abuse Gandhi ji publicly. (CM mayawati used to abuse Him during her early days.). I simply suggest them to read Gandhi's auto-biography (in Hindi) to understand Gandhi.

I doubt that reading his autobiography will give you an insight to his real character, most probably what he wrote was what he thought he should do and feel. Critical analysis of persons who have played important roles in the history of our country are important. Why are people afraid to think for themselves.
Just because we are told Gandhi was a saint does not mean that he was, judge him for yourself.
Most people do not even know the historical facts of that period. Why not learn something of our country?
One question - if the British controlled the whole of India, how was Gandhi allowed to travel around the world critisizing the British? Even 60 years after Independence in our supposedly democratic country, we are scared to question our leaders, their beliefs, their policies?

Many of these third rate politicians don't know reading. Those knows don't read anything. If by chance they read Gandhiji's autobiography, they will be too ashamed and will left politics.
