exposed agenda

i b:long to jain community. our religious leaders or community leaders for that matter never feel the urge to convert poors to our religion out of some good deed... though our community is engaged in a vast and host of welfare projects across our nation..that's simply because we do not seek to align our identity with some third nation "POPE".

and essentially these christian missionary are hardly here with divine intentions of only helping the humanity.... 50 years are a witness to their mass conversions in almost all of the tribal belts..... inlcuding those of missionaries of charity..

religious alterations should be judged from time to time in relation with the mass of it. an exceptional case of converting to another religion might well go with the sober character of a society.... but not a conversion on commercial factory production basis..

i challenge the missionaries to convince the rich and economically prosperous to convert from Hinduism or Jainism to christianity..

they would not be able to do that... not even Teresa could have..

Hi,
My name is Kodanda Ram, a senior project manager in a Software MNC from Hyderabad. I can say that I am economically prosperous. I was a religious and devout Hindu. I heard the Christian gospel. Did my own analysis and became a follower of Jesus Christ. I got CONVERTED.
There are so many examples like me around, whom I know personally. I totally disagree that only poor are converted because of some benefits. I would like to suggest you that please do proper analysis before making that comment.

Mr. KodandaRam, pl read The Necessity of Atheism by Dr.D.M. Brooks freely available at Project Gutenberg and find the true colours of religions. Also read The Skeptics Annotated Bible. It has category-wise verses of the Bible and understand for yourself.

Kodanda Ram, if you had taken half the effort you would have probably found some worth in our own religion. I do not know what made you think Hinduism is not good for you. Every religion has something good or something bad. It is the effort of the educated to reform to the extent they can in their personal practice. This is possible in Hinduism. For example, no one bothers you with going to a temple or praying certain number of times. I am not a practitioner of the rituals. I believe in a Supreme Power, and focus on doing good. My parents never forced me to perform any rituals. I never force anyone to do anything against their wishes. Religion is a personal affair. You need to realize God within. Not by going out to a place of worship.

However, I wish you good luck.

conversions to christianity in North -eastern states allmost all of them, kerala etc. has only fuelled anti-nationalism, seperatism, and unrest among them and which in turn has flung these people quite away from the mainstream of our nation.
