At the Kargil war, there were Muslim brethren who were deployed with us, fought with the same spirit which we had. There was a battalion in which most of them were Muslims, captured very important part of the hill area. Few were killed in our side and some of them were Muslims... Jai Hind...

We are proud of such Muslims who stand up for this country and are willing to sacrifice their lives in defence of their motherland.
No one ever said Muslims did not contribute positively during a war - be it kargil or earlier ones.
One of my childhood hero was Havildar Abdul Hamid who single handedly destroys four pak tanks and makes the ultimate sacrifice in that war.
Where did I learn about him? In a book that the RSS published about our heroes.
We are equally proud of Zaheer Khan, Irfan pathan, Sania Mirza, and many more illustrious sons and daughters of this country - and many of them nameless citizens like you and me.

My dear friend...if do not know, keep quiet... The IAF played a vital role in Kargil war. And if you think that IAF guys fight only through air, I can only feel pity on you... I don't need your certificate to be an IAF guy, because I have the proof. That is sufficient for me.
