The General seems to be telling the it is the head ache of US to monitor Pakistan. And we should not be worrying too much about it.

The problem is created by Communists, who are the ideological force behind Congress/secular parties. Communists refuse to take stand against pakistan's aggression as it may dilute their minority vote-bank.
