Siddhartha Goutama , after a lot of saadhana, attained enlightenment & became Buddha. Our Buddhada , after years of saadhana, has ultimately gained enlightenment and become Siddhartha ( Shankar Ray - remember 1970s WB ).

Look Man but for the personality like S S Ray - you are having a good time in writing at Rediff. He is the one who saved bengal from the menace of Naxals - he is the man along with KPS Gill who rescued India from Balkanization. If Buddha needs to lear then he needs to leran the Administration from S S Ray. BTW, ever since Ray became the envoy to US ; the relationship from the cold year dogma improved. If you do not like Ray - fine ; but if you care to comment on the polutical history especially of 70s bengal and 80s Punjab and late 80s US-India relation; then do some reading on S S Ray's contribution. If you are a CPM supporter sure - you'd hate him - if you are a Khalistani - sure you'd hate him - but for the rest of us; he is dran well an icon who knows what it means to stop the nonsense like rebels.
