India was not under the rule of one emperor. There were many kingdoms and rulers.

The Mughals ruled from 700 BC till 1700 BC over a large part of India.

I am refering to Muslim rulers...

During the last quarter of the twelfth century, Muhammad of Ghor invaded the Indo-Gangetic plain, conquering in succession Ghazni, Multan, Sindh, Lahore, and Delhi. Qutb-ud-din Aybak, one of his generals proclaimed himself Sultan of Delhi. In the 13th century, Shams ud din Iltumish (1211 - 1236), a former slave-warrior, established a Turkic kingdom in Delhi.

The initial entry of Islam into South Asia came during the life time of Muhammad. Islam was practiced across India during Muhammad's lifetime and this can be seen by the fact that the world's second oldest Masjid to offer Jumma Prayer is in Kerala, India, built in AD 629.

These are baseless allegation. Allah says in the Holy Quran that There is no compulsion in Islam. With some of my %u201CMis-Guided%u201D fellow Muslim brothers, who are using violence, it is convenient for all non-Muslims to label Muslims are violent and also make the assertion that Islam was spread by sword.

This is a totally Baseless allegation, refuted by Historic facts.

1000 years is a wrong statistics, its 50 years of Aurangzeb (influened by satanic forces)rule thats all what a muslim ruler ruled, Akbar, Jahngir, Shahjahan & Dara followed Din-e-elahi founded by Akbar. Babar & Humayn had very short stint, they came in 14th century and by 17 century u had britishers. Akbar had a non-converted Hindu wife and jahangir was her son---dreams of 1000 yrs rule.
All others who came before were only looters the main way of earning of muslims taught by prophet mohd. (PBUH). After Aurangjeb the country was so weak tha East India Co. readily took over. Even during Akbar - Shahjahan times it was hindu clan of Sawai Raja Jai Sing & Man Singh which controlled the army, people respected them because they gave up satanic religion. India has very good native religions like Jainism, Sikhism and Budhism to mention a few one doesnot need a foreign religion in India
