Aurangzeb had been harsh all his life he started with killing his own brothers and then he killed many sufis, may be others also.
But as far as Jizia was concerned at least after paying Jizia the non-muslims were protected in return.
Now Muslims and non-muslims both are paying heavy taxes. Are our lives safe under Modi/Such Governments. No, definitely not.
