It is very sad that such incidents are happening in schools (of all the places). And mind you it will continue to happen. Will it be a good idea to punish the parents for such juvenile crime committed by their children? And this need to be told to the children. At least then the children might think twice before taking up to weapons and crime. Because if the children are arrested and remanded to judicial homes, they only return as a criminal (barring a few who might transform).

Hi Ramesh. Crime knows no North, East, West or South. It is the same everywhere. A crime is a crime irrespective of the gender. We make the society. We individuals live life the right way, the society then becomes right. If the society stinks it is because of us. Why don't we first start inculcate good things in our children just the way our parents did? Like the saying goes Charity begins at home. Let us (every one of us)first correct ourselves and then the whole society will change for better

Hi Siva. Agree with you that the TV and the programs aired are actually one of the major reasons for the trend. The programs on crime glorify the criminal rather than laying emphasis on the punishment and the after effects of the punishment.
