Western Influence - those unwanted equalities [all the good Western qualities like civic sense, courtesy, professional behaviour are not imitated] , Cinema Influence, Gaudy show of wealth by Rich parents, Adverse Internet , mobile exposure, Disregard for our Cultural values [Who is Ram asks the TN CM?....Ram , true or not, stands for the highest values of tolerance, virtues etc] - all these are responsible for Abishek's death........ Only Fear is there must not be more such Abhisheks ....We were stunned to read this article. Parents WAKE up...and know where and what your child is Doing Now!
Give your Child Cultural values - which is MORE valuable than Funky phones,Fat pocket money, Movie CDS and other Extravagant gadgets.

Pl Ms. R Donot drag TN CM for the failure of an irresponsible parent. Inspite of Tn CM'S view chennai and entire TN can hold the head high for preserving Indian cultural values Tn people donot ape the west u can see for your self.

You give too little credit to conscious decisions. THAT is a western influence, to blame everything on circumstances. Do you mean to say that before movies, no one used to shoot anyone? Teenagers, in an argument with access to weapons and not enough sense, thats all there is, no rich/poor religion, culture or anything else to read into.
