Some of the comments on this board are so silly and without any logic. Every bloody thing that goes wrong in this country is attributed to Americans, Pakis, Bangladeshis, Muslims, Christians. Are we ever gonna look beyond our prejudices??
The kids killed another one because they feel they are invincible. Why do they feel so? Because of their upbringing. Early in their lives they have seen the power of money and contacts. And Where?? At HOME obviously. This has nothing to do with yankee culture or Movies as someone mentioned. How many of us go on killing people after watching HBO or Star Movies. Again, if the movies are to be blamed why do the parents allow their kids to watch such movies in the first place?? Aren't our own movies full of crap?? Seriously, some people need to grow up.
It's sad that the kid has lost his life because of some sheer carelessness of the parents.

I totally agree with you Maximus. We need to take responsibility and stop blaming someone else... the outsider for everything that goes wrong. Its really sad the way we hear about kids these days. It shows what values the parents and elders are passing on to these kids.
Lets pray for the kid who was killed and be more responsible for the Next generation. Its not about abolishing punishment or stopping them from watching television or western programs. It is more about inculcating values and the sense of what is right and what is not. And these can come only from within. From the immediate family.

In 2006 elections DMK got only 25% of popular votes. DMK got into power because of alliance only. Try to read some newspapers other than Hindu, and Murasoli

You are throwing dirt at yourself my friend, dont try to make it a North-south issue. The problem is not with all north indians, iti s with the westernised types among rich delhiites who have forgotten Indian culture and taking to high lifestyle, weapons, high fashion and things and only among them you find such incidents happening.
The ordinary person of North India does not involve in such incidents

Very well said...some of the posts here are written by ppl who cannot think beyond placing the blame on Christians or Muslims ..if not that then North Indians vs South Indians...when will we grow up if ever??
