Dont call him Sir, Just say Michael O'Dwyer
by GN on Dec 11, 2007 03:50 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

first of all dont call such people with SIr in INDIAN message board. it is abusing our freedom fighters.

By removing his photo, he can be forgotten. they must had made some bronze statue of this man at the entrace and start a new ritual of slapping on the face of him with chappals before entering the museum to pay respect to the freedom fighters.

GN - this guy had received knighthood from the queen of britain - which is why he is being called SIR. Even now we have Sir Swaraj Paul, Sir L N Mittal etc. Knighted people are no longer referred to as Mr., but Sir. It's a british royal decoration.

I do understand that theory Mr.Biswajit. My agony is why to pay respect to such people who are responsible for killing our freedom fighters. They must be humilated giving a lesson for the generations to follow.
