Secularism has vanished from India. Secularism means that religious and other beliefs will remain personal to me but for governance, everyone will be equal in all respects.
Today we have caste and religion based parties. RJD, BSP,DMK,BJP, Muslim league and the list goes on. Politics revolves around people of particular religion, caste and creed to consolidate vote bank. They have stopped looking in totality.Congress is banking upon the anger of Patel and Koli community to improve tally in Gujrat.Modi is bent upon to widen the Hindu Muslim divide.
Congress claims to be the biggest torch bearer of secularism. But tell me what do they do. Example Gujrat riot. They put the blame on a particular party and washed off their hands. In other words their job is only restricted to passing a judgement and declaring that we are not responsible. Others are communal.Did they go beyond this point. The answer is a big "NO".
The silver lining is that we have some people in our society whise consiousness is alive. Their heart bleeds when they see the Indian societry divided in religious, caste and regional blocks.Teesta is one such example.
We have poisoned a good large number of young minds. They nurture hatred towards other community. Secularism is practically dead now.
We have to make a new beginning and ensure that our next generation grows with a healthy mind and pure heart in which there is love for all else the turmoil and violence in society will increase.

Teesta's heart bleeds when she see the society divided in religious block !!! What a Joke. Dear Aftab, people like Teesta are the sort of creature who survive on this kind of divide only. If this divide wont be there it would be difficult for them to get media attention and survive. Hence, even if something negligible happens between two religion, they put ghee to fire. They make it a big issue just and create hipe and thereafter highlight the divide to get media attention and hence survive. If there is no divide, who will know who is Teesta.

Why don't you accept secularism as comming out of the clutch of religion and treating every citizen of this country as equal?
What is wrong in bringing in Common Cvil Code?
Your expectation of our next generation grow with a healthy mind and pure heart in which ther is love for all would fall in line once Common Civil Code is imposed.
Are you ready to keep out of the religion for the cause of our Nations Unity? Most Muslims would never do this?

And you should accept if people started killing missionaries as reaction to trying to degrade Hinduism. And rightfully we should release Dara Singh from jail.
