What is the difference between Electoral Democracy and Constitutional Democracy ? What is the connection between democracy and development ? We must ponder on these questions. The issue about Modi is not Hinduism or Anti Hinduism ? If he is a good administrator then he should be brought at the national level. It is about his total disregard for the constitution and the rights that it gives its citizens. Can we have a leader above the constitution ? Can we have a leader above the law and the people. That is the danger of Modi. It is unfortunate that we do not have tall leaders to challenge his claims today and it has to be done by the media.

There have been hundreds of more deadly riots inn the past where Hindus have been butchered. Where were all of you then? Gujarat riot in 2002 was first when more Muslims died than Hindus because lets put it that Hindus are tired of being the victim all the time. Had more Hindus been killed, I am pretty sure that all would have kept quie and gone about the business as nothing has happened. You shamelss people, doesn't your conscience bother you when Hindus are killed?

no one appreciated when hindus were killed and no one should accept when muslims / hindus are killed.
My conscience bothers me when anyone is killed whether it is Hindu or Muslim or any other religion. Please don't have selective conscience .. thats not science..

If riots could be stopped so easily why didn't Congress stop hundreds of riots during their rule including Anti Sikh riots in 1984. Why would you expect Modi to be different? Why is he being singled out? Can any government stop riots in villages where there is no police?
Second, in riots Hindus get killed as well so it is not that only Muslim suffer during riots as the impression goes around.
Your conscinence does apear rather selective. Riots occur not because BJP or Modiis there but because there are fundamental difference between Hindus and Muslims over hundreds of years. Take out Modi--you think there would be no more riots? Lets start with this question. Why in the world Muslims won't recognize Hinduism as equal religion?

The same thing is happening in India to Kashmiri Pandits.

I agree with you Sameer. Look at Nandigram, the number runs in to thousands, No fuss about it. These red flagers ( CPI & CPM etc.) get hundreds of thousand killed every year. No body puts a question markm on them?

Its very unfortunate to see the hate democracy thats being built up in India. Hindu vs Muslims vs Christians and so on.... we are so engrossed in this religious war that we are forgetting where we as India need to go. There is no end to this religious extremism. Today Hindu majority kills muslims in Gujrat... tomorrow it will be muslims in UP killing Hindus and Christians in NE states. Are we moving towards secession of this country and please wake up to the fact that no religion can clean the others .... So this takes to secession of the country ... so after there is Hindu majority in the smaller states we start differentiating between caste as there will be no other religion to do that... Does this end... If you have a answer .... please go ahead killing the people of other religions and castes and call yourself the defenders of your own religion and caste and be happy... I hope you guys get happiness.

Well I got the point now... you guys have nothing to do with betterment Hindusim but the win of BJP. I am a Christian my self... but I Spread ethics of Hindusm and Geeta as much as I would talk about the Bible... well one more thing... can you please tell me policies that BJP has in stored to give the security feeling for all minorities and assurance that there wont be riots of such kind in future if it comes to power. This assurances in not necessary to minorities only but also to majority as the killing is on both sides. One more thing I would like to ask.. was anyone killed from your immediate family killed in any kind of riots.... i am sure no.. coz making statements are easier about the ethnic cleansing but when it comes to our family it hurts dear.. you may be of any religion in that matter and brings more hatred and feeling of revenge. Off late have you seen any riots in Mumbai on religion.. well they have learnt it hard way by loosing their loved ones in 1990. I am not against the BJP or Hinduism but against the extremism in worst form of killing your own country men.

World's troubles can be reduced by 90% if all religions agree that there are many paths to God and all religions are equal. But Islam, Christians, Jews would have nothing of that. So the cycle of dominaiton by sword or fraud or inducement continues.
