BJP and riots-false perception
by Sameer on Dec 12, 2007 02:53 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Someone gave interesting statistics
that growth of BJP is inversely proportional to the number of riots. During congress rule there were average 58 riots per year with average 3421 lives lost, where as under BJP rule there were just two riots in five year with 937 deaths. Interestingly, under BJP Shiv Sena rule in Maharashtra, there was not even one riot.

Nice try. So why couldn't Congress govt. stop them.
Also,
Most riots occured before BJP was ever born, in 1920s through 1947.
