Similar actions are accussed/alleged to be taken by KPS GILL / Beant Singh in Paunjab to remove terrorism in Punjab.
Also I know that Beant singh became CM of Punjbb ( as Congress candidate) Beant singh was killed in front of Punjab Supreme court by a hunman Bomb.
Also note that My father was victim of Sikh Extremism ( Tortured by GOONS of Bhindrawale)
You decide why you like Congress. I have no sympathy for them. They created punjab trouble and now they want to create trouble in Gujarat , once they realise Gujrat is gone to BJP

Ashokji, I dont think we can compre Kashmir and north east with Gujarath. I dont want to make more comments about those problems but these are seperate issues and not an apple to apple comparison.

Compare Gujrat with Kashmir / North east.

Ashokji, Did you support the emergency rule imposed by Indira Gandhi? I was told that everything was perfect during those days too. but we voted Indira out of power and she learned a lot after the election. What ever the situation may be, do you support such autocratic governance where the opposition live in fear.

Surely I dont support Emergency as imposed by Indira Gandhi. Although if you see & - of indiraGandhi days , she was good for India and she had guts to stand against adversity.
Similarly I do believe MODI has guts to stand against Fundamentalists ( Altough Many may see him as a Hindu Fundamentalist)
I believe he is evolving as time is progressing and that is why VHP & and many other Hindu organisations which are of extreme views are hesitent in supporting MODI, this time around.
This coupled with Mass bribing power of Congress ( as they are already doing in HELMETS and electricity theft cases)
I do fear Modi can be made to loose and we may never see his next phase of governance.
If 2002 was bad year that what next ( what sort of mass killings you have seen in Gujrat after that)
look at Baroda , althose Muslims shops which were burnt, have come up with great show and are back with same Muslim Owners with the help of Insurance claims.
I know it was all wrong at first place but look who started it at first place , start looking forward from 1950 >> when India became Republic and we took oath to follow a multicultral society with equality for all.
What sort of equality CONGRESS has given.???

Ashok, I am sorry to hear about being a victim of punjab terrorism. I got to say that i do not find a comparison between the situation in Punjab and the sitation in Gujarath. There were several people that were gunned down during Modi regime. How come so many people started coming up while we did not have any of them in the previous 65 years of governance. So, there is something fundamentally wrong with in system of governance.
